Shoutout to the driver of E118 on 131 who wins the award for the slowest driver in existence! This guy was doing about 5 - 10mph the whole way and arrived into Fairfield Bus Station +37 minutes late 🔥 Its the half term, every day I've gone out this week there have been at least 3-4 regulations The 57 and judging by your experience 131 are on another level of insufferability and god awful passenger experience, something should be done about this.

Yes, but this driver was over half-a-hour late so unless I'm completely misunderstanding the situation, this has nothing to do with regulation. This driver should be reported for deliberate time-wasting.

Yes, but this driver was over half-a-hour late so this has nothing to do with regulation. This driver should be reported for deliberate time-wasting. The driver of HV309 on the 2 was doing similar yesterday - purposefully driving extremely slowly, deliberately crawling up to traffic lights in the hope they change and doing an extreme crawl when pulling into bus stops - he even refused to open the doors at Brixton until he was exactly level by the flag pole. This was in stark comparison to my rides yesterday on the SL3 & SL5 where none of this was going on, and whilst there was some regulation at Shirley Library on the SL5, the driver was still far from crawling along the whole way.

Every half term this just keeps happening whether the bus is regulating or the driver is crawling and purposefully trying to hit red lights.

Yes, but there's a difference between doing that to avoid running early - frustrating as that is - and deliberately running so slowly that the bus ends up 37 minutes late! As I said, unless I'm completely misunderstanding the situation.

I am hearing new drivers are no longer to get Mayors retention bonus. Now that Sadiq is back in office he doesn’t need bus driver support 🤷🏾

No regulating occured! Just super slow driving. Got overtaken once and the two 131's behind caught up

Even so there has to be point where if he’s running 30 late, it can’t be justified to keep running him.

As someone who isn’t a bus driver, why would a driver be looking and hoping for a turn?😂 Not a driver but imagine if near the end of a shift or break it’s to ensure they finish on time or even early if they are told to run light back to the garage. Also think when buses are turned they can end up with longer stand time.
