In January it will be interesting to see what the 99,269 and 401 will get for it's temporary allocation as I know there is a back log with Electric Bus orders as there is so many.

Most likely the WVNs , WVLs and anything else they can gather together! Possibly the 333 and atleast one of the 172 or 188 may have converted by them to free up some buses.

If the 333 gets its electric buses before January and it releases the MHVs to their rightful 89 home, the Es displaced could then hang around to take part of the allocation - but it’s a big if and it doesn’t cover the whole allocation anyway.

It's been reported that tri axle spec TA1 is now withdrawn, the bus presently with Ensignbus It was a shame it had the Vantage pack added to it as it made it so unreliable it hardly got used. Indeed as Ensignbus own examples are excellent vehicles from both an enthusiast and passenger point of view. Hopefully, Ensignbus retain it and rip out the Vantage pack so it can actually shine.

It was a shame it had the Vantage pack added to it as it made it so unreliable it hardly got used. Indeed as Ensignbus own examples are excellent vehicles from both an enthusiast and passenger point of view. Hopefully, Ensignbus retain it and rip out the Vantage pack so it can actually shine. Yes so unfortunately London didn't really get a chance to analyse if 12m tri axel buses would work. Had the reliability been better I'd have put it on the 208 for a month, the X26, a school route maybe and a route with a few twists and turns to see how it moves and what the dwell times were like on a longer vehicle.

With Arriva now starting LED conversions on relevant buses (after TUK's) this conversion would've been ideal for Merton's WHVs for the 57 and Sutton's for the 80 to have been retrofitted
