why would they cut one route back to keep another route "relevant?" 242 wasn't a well used route within Central London, unlike the 67 which has demand throughout the route. Since the only meaningful section of the 242 was between Shoreditch and Homerton, they decided to send the route to Aldgate instead of keeping the 67 there How has it done since it was rerouted there?

Has it been decided yet where the Fast track will start yet in November will be at Bexleyheath still or will be at the new Dartford Garage.

The 242 never strikes me as a particularly busy route. Even on the unique section through Clapton Park loadings aren't huge and certainly south of Dalston its quite lightly used.

The contracts for the 5, 15 and 115 will restart tomorrow, however Londonbusroutes.net states that the 115 will now have a PVR of 15 vehicles, despite the tender saying that it will clearly still remain with 18. Could this also play as a reason as to why some EHs have left RR and DS? Could anyone actually confirm whether the PVR will be 15 or 18, or will we just have to wait and find out tomorrow. MHV 1 - 5 have all been off the road for a couple of weeks so I think it's save to assume refurbs have started for the 147.
On another note I don't think much is going to change on the 5 tomorrow (Tender Renewal) Still has EHs and E400s being used. The 115 is also still using the 13 reg EHs.

Londonbusroutes.net is a good resource but would be inclined to go with the official tender award! The EHs that left are most likely the ones that were part of the 5 allocation and this is using the ones that should be on the 115.

Looks like theyre probably gonna be refurbing the MHVs first then the WHVs. Most of the diesel strays are usually since the LTs are unreliable as usual (keep in mind no buses are required for any school routes ethier atm) Pretty sure them 13 reg EHs are allocated to school routes on paper but theyre also covering for any shortfall of YW17s at this point (including the 2 that went because of their fires)

There are still 21 17-reg EHs at DS, I believe, enough for PVR of 18.

The LT allocations don't help with the constant moving of buses back and forward between DS and RR, I imagine it would work better if all the LTs were at one garage but that's not practical.

Oh well as long as theres a service theres not much that will be done

Anyone wonder what could happen to the 12 metre E200 EVs on the 444 and 360? Along with the 10.9m E200 EVs on the 153? I do wonder if Go Ahead could potentially use them to retain the 300 for its next contract.
There have been talks about the 108 moving to NX completely to get its E200 EVs, and I believe I read somewhere that the Citaros on the 108 and 358 will be used for Fasttrack temporarily...
Lastly, does anyone know if the 147 will still be moving to SI? I can see this happening so that there could potentially be more space for the 325 and 101 chargers, whenever their electrics arrive to RR, and for future routes that could be electrified there.
It seems like they are the only subsidiary in Go Ahead that have managed to have their garages electrified, although TUK would be the only operator to have every garage electrified.
