What's wrong with the seats? Are they an unfamiliar design They’ve got really hard nasty plastic seats. I’ve never seen them before on a bus other than this one video here (not mine) youtu.be/lg__1DJRgyI?si=Q9v_mnu50tN5AfodI can just about see the logo on the back of the seat, Fainsa I think the name is? They indeed do not look very comfortable! However the tender for the 151 stated brand new electric buses, and that bus is clearly not a new one, and has been on previous routes before. I am hoping the demonstrator goes back to Wrightbus, whilst they will begin spamming Wright Electroliners everywhere! I also just realised that GoAhead will be the first operator in London to strictly have the Electroliner in the Vision Zero spec, both the single and double deck-wise.

I think like others have suggested it will end up going to the 200 to replace Me12, I don’t think the bus is going anywhere, I think it’s staying with GAL. Funnily enough, your last statement is technically incorrect with EL1 around, GAL currently have an electoliner that’s not Vision zero Ive just been doing a bit of googling, Fainsa are apparently responsible for the rock hard ‘ironing board’ seats in the Thameslink trains, and the god awful plastic seats on the universally hated new GWR Class 800. What an accolade!😟

What an accolade!😟 Yes, GAL do currently have an electroliner that is not a Vision Zero, but there is no confirmation that it belongs to the company It would also be quite smart for it to replace Me12, and I don't see why AL wouldn't take it on board too.

Based on how enjoyable WVL292 is on the 157 and 200 I’m hoping to get one of its 59reg friends on the 217, although I will probably make time this coming week and avoid the likely enthusiast storm tomorrow!!

The ambient lighting colours are changeable!! They were green in a previous video, this one is the GAL light blue colour. I can’t remember who said it but it looks like the person who said the interior of these buses could be like a disco might not be far wrong 😂 I wonder who or what can change the colours I saw a video with the lights being red as well, so I wonder if there are even more colours.

Could be wrong but the following seem like the allocation for the 217:
WVL293, WVL294, WVN13-WVN17, WVN40-WVN45. + 1/2 others. (PVR 13/ TVR 14/15)

Will the 217 track tomorrow on LVF or not? Just wondering if anything will happen due to the whole cyber attack situation. It is hoped that this will show up as operators have been able to do some schedule uploads to TfL. Fingers crossed.

I can't see it happening every one of the recent schedule changes have not appeared on tracking sites and only parts that remained from previous schedules have remained. The W9 for instance does not track since changing operator. The 217 gains blind sets on buses but loses tracking
