I wonder what the chances are of the whole lot batch just getting dumped and not returning to service, with a new batch on its renewal in ‘26 Iv wondered before if Go Ahead and TFL are just itching for Optare to offer them a refund and take them back and the 200 operate with whatever can be found till the next tender. Would break my heart because I am genuinely fond of the Me fleet, but at the same time TfL/GAL need them to actually work a service, not just sit around in some yard somewhere so wouldn’t be a surprise at this point. |

Probably more SEs from somewhere Oh I thought the award stated new Electrics? Or is that from next year? From next year, currently the route is using diesel spares from within GAL. The electrics may be bumped up the priority list and arrive before contract renewal, but they definitely won't arrive in the next few months. |

They're probably just waiting for any honeymoon period to subside before they start hacking back routes. |

The leaflet that was shown depicting the changes was a leak and wasn’t meant to be released to the public so I doubt your doubts |

I think the 241 extension to Here East came out just the GE was called but I can't recall any new ones. Several closed ones have had their final decisions made but I don't think anything major has been launched. Is August generally a quiet time for consultations? |

I suspect the proposals may have been shelved Shortening the SL7 has been mentioned as an aspiration by TfL recently and the shorter route was shown on the (clearly officially produced) map used by Sadiq Khan in his election campaign. It will happen - the only question is when. |
