Any updates on the 22's tender and what buses it will be getting? Its new contract starts in 2 weeks. It could be getting the BYD BD11 Electrics, given Go Ahead have ordered a 100 of these. I see one of these being driven on the M25 on Saturday, its an absolutely hideous bus, even worse when you see it in the flesh. 100 of them? Wow. So glad I don't live on that side of London. |

I'm so confused with these. Is the curesnt BYD City now discontinued and the BD11 the replacement model? Would the ones for the 333 effectively be the last of them if an order for other routes hasn't already been placed for them. The BYD City hasn’t been on the website since the new ADL buses were revealed so presumably, it’s no longer available to order. BYD have always made their own vehicles as well and the BD11 is their attempt at an electric double decker.And what a terrible attempt it is. |

Update on the LOTs website states the first BYD B11 deckers have arrived at Southampton with NX garage codes and EBD class codes. Presumberly for 321 Yep they will be going to the 321. Just as long as a batch of these doesn’t make its way over to Croydon I’ll be happy. So far it looks like the 321, 129 and SL4 will be getting them, potentially the 131, 320 and 333 too (though I strongly suspect E400’s will be ordered for the 320). Haven’t done the maths but I suspect most of those routes will take care of that 100 batch order. |

Turning circle is reported to be significantly better compare to their old E200 & E400 bodied chassis |

I suspect it may still be available upon special request. Not advertised but they’ll just keep going if they have the parts, chassis and bodywork available. Similar to how they were offering the standard E200 for a bit after the MMC was launched whilst only marketing the latter. Of course the major difference is not being an ADL chassis. But if an operator was wanting to try and standardise then it would probably make more sense to switch to the newer or a different model? Hence why it's there to order if the operator really wants it, the chassis and it's technology is far behind the likes of the BD11 or E400EV, especially with the blade technology the BD11 boasts. Yes it may not look the best, but it seems to be a very strong performer whilst being cheap. So cheap, that GAL seemed to have upgraded their interior spec to a higher standard on the BD11s. |

We don't even yet know which model's confirmed for the 131, the latest LOTS publication stating the type to be confirmed. We still also don't have any schedule updates on the 333's new kits, that route nearly a year into the new contract |

We still also don't have any schedule updates on the 333's new kits, the route nearly a year into the new contract We’ll see about the 131, there still seems to be a question mark over longer vehicles using the Tooting Broadway stand. With just one or two longer vehicles space is apparently becoming an issue, so a whole fleet of them could become problematic |
