But if an operator was wanting to try and standardise then it would probably make more sense to switch to the newer or a different model? Hence why it's there to order if the operator really wants it, the chassis and it's technology is far behind the likes of the BD11 or E400EV, especially with the blade technology the BD11 boasts. Yes it may not look the best, but it seems to be a very strong performer whilst being cheap. So cheap, that GAL seemed to have upgraded their interior spec to a higher standard on the BD11s. Cheap largely thanks to subsidies from the Chinese government!

Are the 325 electrics in store at a London garage? I know a few are in use on the 376 but surprised others have not seen any use elsewhere even if rotated on the 376 wit the others.

I'm more surprised that the 325 hasn't started using the electrics despite the buses ordered for the route have already been delivered and that RR has already been electrified unless it is the case of limited amount of electrics can be used at RR where they decided to prioritise the 366 & 396 instead.

I'm rather annoyed the electrics have yet to make an appearance on the 325, especially as seeing some of its buses are on the 376. It must be one of the few cases where an operator didn't prioritise a newly won route. Routes 265 and 366 were fully converted within 1 and 2 months respectively; 6 months later the 325 has yet to see an electric stray onto it. As well as that, GAL's temporary timetable has the PM peak extra removed from the schedule. That is essentially a school extra in all but name, and I'm growing more annoyed Arriva ran it with no issues but GAL felt the need to request it be "temporarily" removed. After Thames Water finishes their extensive archaeological dig of East Ham, I am expecting to see that PM peak extra put back as quickly as it was taken out.

I am guessing there is still infrastructure issues at RR. It’s a shame a few extra chargers couldn’t have been installed at DS and the 366 remained there temporarily and the 325 used the chargers at RR.

It's a needless cost when the 325 is managing fine in the interim.

The front. Surely that one is obvious. The windows look odd. Side panels everywhere makes it look like a lego bus. Basically .... everything about it. I'm just waiting for someone to tell me they prefer it to a BZL. I don’t prefer it to a BZL but I genuinely like it, I like that it looks simple and just functional. I personally hate the newest ADL offering, too sharp and over-designed like the latest ugly Toyota car and I severely dislike the now tired looking Wright offering. Yes agree about the ADL offering and the Wright one too.

That's not how it works, chargers need to be scouted for and quite possibly go through their own tender process for installation and you can't just install them whenever you want.

Do you know if the new go-ahead Fasttrack garage at Dartford is ready for the Fasttrack to operate from in from or are they still starting the contract from Bexleyheath until it is ready.

I am aware thanks, you are taking my off the cuff remark as something more than it was. My initial comment was more along the lines there are so many electric buses in storage that it would be good to have them in service instead of sat around. This is a London wide issue so not just aimed at Go Ahesd.

They'd have worked out the cost of having the buses sat around vs the cost of having them in service. Stagecoach for example have decided that the 242 buses should be run out at NS while they're perfect happy to store the 277s buses. Go Ahead have decided that the 325 is better off not going electric and to have its buses sat around.

Do you know if it has been confirmed if the 244,486,624,625 and 658 will be transferring to Morden Wharf on the 18th January next year when Go-ahead London take over the contract of Route 99,269 and 401.
