Interesting to see what the R2 and R11 will get now Plus outstanding SD orders still for the 355, 360, 444, B16. Maybe the R2 and R11 will match those. Volvo BZL maybe? Apparently the E200EV is not in the market iirc.

Do you know if this is right on Wikipedia it says that Route 51 will also transfer to Morden Wharf along with 244,486,625,625 and 658 in October 2024. Not sure but could be true cos space is needed at BX plus the 108 & 188 are moving out of MG. I believe it was mentioned that 244, 486 and the school routes were to move out of Bexleyheath to Morden Wharf. Not sure where the 51 came from.

Hope so the alternative is the single decker variant of that ghastly BD11 on which I hope is a stop gap between the City & ADLs new E400 EVs but time will tell. The single deck BYD (B11) is looks very different to the BYD BD11 decker, and is actually a very nice looking vehicle it has to be said The image on their website is likely not the one that we'll be getting here (if ever)! That seems to be the RHD design only manufactured by BYD Europe (seen at Amsterdam Airport, Beauvais in France, etc...). None of their Chinese plants seem to make it and it hasn't been seen in LHD before. And the UK tends to get things made in China -- which also heads to the Macau/SG/HK/JP markets. Also doesn't look like it'd be compliant with the TfL safety requirements.

Would be surprised to see buses enter service this year. 320s order hasn’t even been confirmed yet (though it is rumoured to be the E400EV), so I’m assuming sometime next year the buses will come for both routes

If Go-Ahead won again for my local bus 162 then I will be happy to have that E100. They are narrower than your existing buses. Not ideal. They are ideal for the R8 though, given how tight the roads on that route are!

If Go-Ahead were to order some E200EV’s for the R2 and R11, surely the R2 and R11’s existing allocation would be perfectly adequate to continue on until those become available?

What is the limitation that prevents the 162 from getting longer buses?

What is the limitation that prevents the 162 from getting longer buses? I believe it's Albany Road in Chislehurst.

Three photos of it are shown on the Friends of the PSV Circle group on Facebook, this being the same bus seen on a dual carriageway in a brief Ticktok video. Whether any enter service this year mind you could be hit-and-miss depending on various factors such as depot infrastructure progress, pre-depot checks, engineering/driver training, potential new bus teeting problems, etc

Any idea on the other bonnet numbers? I seem to recall the mention of EBD18 which could be one of them
