Speaking of the BD11, here's an interior picture found from instagram, grouped the three together! Looks quite nice with Lazzerini seating, glad they haven't got head banging rear seats on the lower deck. Don't suppose you could zoom into the original picture of the cab and tell us what the seating capacity is? The seating capacity is 61, standing is 22 and 1 wheelchair space.

I'd like to know that too - seems to be 61 but I can't confirm that EDIT: I see it was confirmed seconds later

I really hope one of the EBDs goes into service soon. Looking forward to seeing it for real and riding one. Appearantly one is to be trialled on the SL7. If so would that be the first in service I wonder? Interesting, as a very long and intensive route, I assume they're testing its performance on the SL7 (the range most importantly!) before ordering a full batch.

Speaking of the BD11, here's an interior picture found from instagram, grouped the three together! Hate to say this: but this is an extremely nice looking interior, love it when light colours are used. Itโs probably the same as Chinese cars, very odd looking but they sure do know how to make an interior look nice. Whether itโll be a case of style over substance is another matter! Oooooh do I sense someone changing their tune about the new bus ๐๐๐

That's actually quite interesting to hear, I think they will work successfully on the route given the amount of times that BYD has boasted about their Blade Battery technology which promises a real good amount of range and etc.

Oooooh do I sense someone changing their tune about the new bus ๐๐๐ Eeeehhhhh yes I bit I guess, not sure. At first I absolutely hated it like most people. But then I liked the fact that it was sticking up a very bold two fingers to GALโs endless standardisation which was very refreshing, but still not sold by the looks of the thing itself. But then when I saw it seems to be catching on much quicker than anticipated with high quantities of orders then I started to dislike it again, as Iโd much rather see tons of new E400s on the street than being flooded with these things. But now the looks of it are kind of growing on me, it looks quite good with the lights on. And yes I do like the interior. But Iโm still not 100% sold on it, itโs a dated design that can be likened to a bus from 15 years ago. I certainly wouldnโt want London to be absolutely flooded with these things at the expense of nicer looking, and probably superior vehicles. Kind of a love hate relationship ๐คฃ

There's no way they are still getting upseated, it's not the longest process so it should be done by now, and received a refurb anyway, I assume it's dependent on when the 108 moves to NX completely and will likely convert to a full D9UR operation. Seems to me as though the EBDs to be on the 321 seem more important than the 108! Also, I believe it is likely that all the EBDs will receive 74 plates, given BYD have gotten them all produced very quickly. The only one I see that could carry 25 plates, or even 75 are the 333's batch! Speaking of the BD11, here's an interior picture found from instagram, grouped the three together! What about the upper deck?

I'll have to see it with my own eyes but it looks a lot less 'plasticky' and cheap than the interiors KMB in Hong Kong got with the latest B12 single deckers and double deckers.

It might be better with the protective seat coverings removed but I'm not sure about those handrails. I assume they meet PSVAR contrast requirements but it looks marginal.

Has there been actual confirmation that SW is being electrified?
