I quite liked the 724 between Heathrow and Harlow. However, I can no longer use it between Heathrow and Maple Cross as some genius decided to withdraw Explorer tickets along this section of the route That is a great route. I canrt understand either why they withdrew the explorer from that section, would it really make such a difference. That was down to TfL.

Then why is it not valid as far as Denham. As I understand it, Denham should be the boundary between TfL and Hertfordshire. Besides, the Explorer is an Arriva and Intalink ticket. It has nothing to do with TfL. TfL tickets are not valid (and were never) on any section of the 724

TfL tickets are not valid (and were never) on any section of the 724 At one time in the distant past Tfl or LT tickets were valid on most Greeline services within London. The change to the 724 seems to be bringing it in to line with other services. The Explorer ticket was not normally valid for journeys that went into London. It may be Maple Cross is the limit as that may be the last fare stage

Green Line had been in decline for many years, and the name IIRC is now owned by Arriva, who still use it on their London express commuter services to the Luton and Herfordshire areas. Since there is no 'local' service within the LT (now TfL) area, HOW could their tickets be valid on Green Line routes?
