R means a break for the driver during the duty F means end of a driver’s duty That's what I was initially thinking, using a bit of common sense R would be 'Rest' and 'F' would be 'Finished'. Just had to ask to make sure. Thanks

This fake update was spread amongst drivers at T, and a driver just sent it to me.
I have seen and know many people who just talk for the sake of making banter (even myself), but to go through the effort of doing this, that's just sad!

Wow can't believe someone would actually go and write that message let alone send it out. Message doesn't make a lot of sense. "It looks like we won't be able to retain these routes" "tower transit have submitted a lower cost bid with electrics" well surely if Tower Transit submitted a lower bid then there is no looks like about it.

If they are going to go to the trouble of writing stupid things like this, at least make it believable - no operator would send a message out saying we might not be able to retain a route because a competitor has a garage on the line of route. Tender result notices at garages are usually published when the result is published not and even then, TfL aren't going to say to Stagecoach, "well Tower have just submitted their bid and they have bidded using electric buses, what will you do so we can notify Tower" Some people seems to think it works like an auction where everyone stands in one room or sits by a PC and bids openly when it doesn't work like that. It these idiots that give enthusiasts a bad name!

Looks like it was put together by a 5 year old in MS Paint. The grammar seems familiar I don't see the point in you sharing things like that here, it's like you trying to carry on daft tender rumours.

View AttachmentNo, it was a silly fake update you made to spread trouble here! Just like the screenshot of supposed emails from Stagecoach management you claimed to receive. Pathetic🙄 They post tender notices on the Blink app at Stagecoach I think rather than as letter notices now anyway.

How would Stagecoach even know that Tower Transit submitted a lower bid with electrics??? The bids haven't even been submitted yet for the 55/56. And they wouldn't be allowed to access commercially sensitive information of rival companies bids.

Maybe I'm being ignorant but would a driver at AF be interested in Go Ahead wining the 184.

It's good to keep staff informed of company wide issues I think. I always read bulletins from other GA subsidiaries that pop up on our intranet, find them interesting and gives a good picture of what's going on.

I understand why you would like looking at them because you're an enthusiast but many drivers are not so probably don't care that much. It's not like it's going to affect them personally.
