Think it closes at 5pm, did you try calling 01707 347700? yep I tried and theyre not picking up however THANK GOD!! hallelujah. On find my Iphone it shows that its at PB so tommorow Ill just go there after school That's great news! Are you sure that the driver has seen it though? That same bus could head out later on or tomorrow so by the time you go to PB it could be gone. I still recommend you contact them or go there ASAP.

From my observations, I'm not sure the use of signs diplayed in bus front windows has been successful. The 'bus full' signs are often left on display, regardless of how busy the bus is at the time. Non-school services seem to get very busy as school children continue to use them, likely as they may not know when the school extras are timetabled. Meanwhile, the school services are usually almost empty, and often let any passengers on. Although the extra services are needed, I'm not sure it is worth segregating the two passenger types. Nobody seems to take any notice of the school bus signs and inevitably drivers forget to change them just like the bus full signs.

Tfl has surpassed itself today. The announcement of diversion on routes R1 and R11 tells us that they will not be serving High Street Farnborough! Well that is true, but the diversion is away from High Street Green Street Green.

I don't think the 440 had a stop on Gunnersbury Avenue. It used to run along a short stretch of Gunnersbury Avenue on departure from Power Road, but without stopping.
The stop outside Gunnersbury Park is a bit further north. The last route to serve that stretch of Gunnersbury Avenue would have been the 7 when it had a Sunday extension to Kew Green (via Acton, Gunnersbury Lane and Gunnersbury Avenue). That was withdrawn back in 1996 but the bus stop markings are still there!

Seen in Surbiton, BCE 47000 with a black on yellow display showing: "Bus on Diversion" with an arrow pointing right where the route number would be.

I Remember were 440 Use to Stop behind the car Showroom back Road. I don’t know. It be good if Bus route pass through. But there isn't anything there on Power Road to justify a bus route - it's mainly a car dealership and other more industrial uses. I suspect why the 440 terminated there was more convenience than to serve anything especially as the 440 took over the H91's routing via Oxford Road North & Wellesley Road at the same time it was extended from Turnham Green to Power Road.
