Did the vaccine do well for you? Any side effects I'm hoping to get the German Vaccine when possible. My sister had the UK made one 3 weeks ago and she said her bones are aching. Are you based in Germany? If you're in the UK you won't get a choice, the AstraZeneca one is what's predominantly being rolled out here and it'll be done on what's available and when it's available.

It does cause body aches in some individuals but it's more effective compared to other vaccines so the trade off is worth it.

I think one fundamental issue is that there's always a huge anti-car movement which is what's leading to this mess. Redbridge for example decided to embrace the LTN idea with open arms, well needless to say how that went down with the amount of chaos and opposition it caused, why Redbridge was one of the worst? Well that's easy, the majority of households in Redbridge own a car and so will be against anything that makes using the car harder, you automatically drum up more than 50% opposition and the idea is dead in the water and the borough is flogging a dead horse. Lambeth, Hackney and Waltham Forest have a better leg to stand on, as less than 50% of the residents have cars however their implementation has been so bad that their relative lack of cars has still lead to a huge mess. Any car mitigating movements need to get the car usage proportions down a lot naturally, and not by force. Force causes resistance and that's exactly what you do not want. You can't just block a road and assume everyone will sell off their car the next day, it's not hard for a car driver to use an alternative route should they need, this builds up traffic that car drivers are happy to sit in when they've got nice heating, music control and the liberty to do what they want without needing to regulate themselves as they feel they are running too early. The key is that you need to still allow cars to use roads they want while just making the bus, tube or whatever public transport alternative an attractive proposition. I feel a lot of this anti-car movement is segregating the poorer, less well off to ride your bike or get on the bus and the richer/well off to have your car. In Waltham Forest a lot of households own one or more cars like in Redbridge but Waltham Forest tends to do things where they simply do not care. After all they would as they have been given a licence to print money (i.e a safe seat and no threat from ever losing power) LTN's are NOT the way forward imo, create them people would get use to them and then sit in jams and simply do NOT give a f###. I have said it many times before the main creature comforts are simply the major reasons why people do not use public transport. Think the other issue is that a lot of the anti car / LTN movements have been geared towards forcing people to cycle rather than use public transport. I am al for saving the environment but no one can force me to cycle from say IoD to the west end in morning rush hour in January (in normal times) abs similarly from say IoD to ilford. So if public transport is dead slow I would end up driving so good luck with reduction of vehicles on the road

All, I appreciate some of my posts might seem disruptive but I need to give my side of the story. About 2 or so years ago DennisTas accused me of bullying a former member called Stevenevil or something along them lines since then I have had non stop hassle from Abz creating account and being banned constantly. You only have to look at the below accounts to see it is him. I really enjoy the forum but he is causing me far too much stress and I feel uncomfortable here after the serious threat made by him to me and my safety. It's best for me to go, I end up causing admin hassle tidying up so sorry about that. All I will say is be very careful here. Speller RML1969 RayArthur DennisTAS Eddiebus Parker96 I'm so sorry to hear this is still ongoing after all this time. I can certainly understand your choice for leaving but if you do come back most people on here including me will welcome your return but your health and your safety has to come before anything else. If you ever need to speak about anything my private messages are always open. Take care.

How these very people can be listened to by the respective political bodies seems to be unfathomable.

No one should need to feel like that where you feel threatened, as george said if you do choose to return we will welcome you back. Take care through the pandemic.

I'm very disappointed to have been made a target by the obvious member claiming false statements which he cannot proof and I totally deny as they are all false.
I'm unaware of anyone named stevenevil or DennisTas or him being threatened so on.
This is extremely unfair for a professional working man who's only intention is to earn a wage to feed his children and family. I didn't deserve this.
For the record I have filled a complaint to the forum team and directly to Proboards.

Phizer seems to be the best of the lot. Depends which data you look at, there's a lot out there at the moment and like you I agree in terms of side effects the Pfizer one seems to be the best however it's thought the Astra one is more effective against different strains.

I'd dare him to stand in the market or outside McDonalds and make the same comments because it won't be pretty I can tell you.

My vaccine location was Selhurst Park, so I made a rare visit to Croydon. If there is a logic to the LTNs I encountered, I failed to see it. Did the vaccine do well for you? Any side effects Just the slightest of headaches. 1/10 on a scale of discomfort. This was the Oxford AZ vaccine.
