Yes they were on the DPS that were on the H22. Urban 90 seats were/are commonly found on Darts though some other types sadly got inflicted by them such as the 55 reg VLA’s and W reg DLA’s specifically at TC except for one or two notable examples like DLA180 which received Esteban seats instead. Some Euro IV Enviro 200’s got them outside London but that was quite rare and they eventually weren’t seen on new buses. One of the worst seats I’ve used on a bus, only marginally beating the vandal proof full plastic seats because Urban 90’s actually had some padding Memories of DLA180 😀 I knew you more than anyone would remember that particular bus 😂

I absolutely hated the seats, but I don't think they were on the H22s buses? They might've been on the H20 if that's what you meant and they were certainly on the 235 on it's Caetenos. Personally I found them awful and am absolutely glad the breed is dying off. Yes they were on the DPS that were on the H22. What was even then the reason for creating them? More space for more seats?

There wasn’t more space with them, just the manufacturer went with that design

Not sure if it's been mentioned anywhere before - anyone knows the identity of the white Optare Solo sitting in Network Rail's field in Deptford? I see this every time I take my Southeastern train to work. I guess it's not an ex-TfL bus right?

Can anybody confirm if TfL has shut down the text to find the next buses from your stop service?
Have tried to use it a couple of times recently and my message failed to go through to the number.
If it has been abandoned there's a lot of small signs to be removed from stops.

The 7.12 am 121 towards Enfield Island Village at Arcadian Gardens seems to ghost most days.

Not tried myself for ages ... have you had the issue at many stops or always the same one. What number stop is it? Stop 49158 seems to work for me on LVF.

So I’m on a 132 which just left NOG
Upper deck has 4-5 seats empty Lower deck is full I think and there are people standing
Now - the card reader doesn’t work. So you have a bus full of people in peak time with 0 revenue. God knows if this has been the case the rest of the day or not
And then tfl moan about losses. This is an easy fix guys

This is an easy fix guys Although a lot of those people will be on zonal travel cards or will qualify for free travel (via their Oyster Cards) TfL effectively already has their money. And if a card reader fails while the bus is in service, do you really want to take it off the road and create a gap in the service just for that? It's not a safety critical issue.

Was at East Finchley today waiting for a 102 and about 3 102s turned up in the space of 5 minutes! Must say bunching has become more common recently, and not just on the 102, I noticed a similar thing with the 263 recently but I must say for 3 buses that are bunching all 3 were very well loaded. I can't think as to why this is the case?
Was also waiting for a C11 at Archway on Friday afternoon last week about 4:30pm and I noticed that the next 143 was in 24 minutes, so there's really 2 sides to this coin from what I've noticed.
