River Road/Thames Road on the EL3 is a pretty grim place to wait for a bus, all you can do is wait for the next EL3. Wennington on the 372 is also a pretty isolated place for onward connections to anywhere Worse than Dagenham Dock? 😬 to be fair, that's pretty grim as well. I've only been to the Dagenham Dock terminus once, and left again pretty quickly. Many years ago, I worked at weekends for Capital Citybus/First London so spent many years dodging the pot holes/craters and puddles in the road on Chequers Lane when going to the office to pick up my paperwork- it wasn't much better back then

I have been there only once back in 2019 - did the 145 end to end, then used the pedestrian footbridge to cross the rail tracks to get to the other side for the EL2 end to end. Never been more scared in my life and this was at 4pm on a warm, sunny saturday afternoon in august

I've used the EL2 there frequently when it would turn up before the 287 and I was in Barking Town Centre and needed to get to Dagenham. That footbridge is half the issue, it's completely enclosed which doesn't help at all. If that was replaced with one more open that lets you see what's on the other side then it would be a far more pleasant experience.

What are some of the worst curtailment points in London from a passenger perspective? Places with little to no amenities/facilities or onward connections. Where you really feel like you are being "dumped off in the middle of nowhere". Here's another one that came to mind Mollison Avenue on the 313 given how infrequent the route is.

I would say Debden Hillyfields where sometimes buses would run so late they would turn around Davenant School to get to Castell Road to go back to Walthamstow again thus missing out on Debden altogether

Just had a bit more of a think and imo the worst Central London location has to be City Thameslink (file that as a 'permanent curtailment point' for the 25). It's incredible as it's in the middle of everything yet in the middle of nothing. A big void of east-west rail connections if all buses are curtailed there.

Hi everyone, just wondered if anyone knew some bus stands where the buses reverse into the stands The stand in Morden often requires drivers to reverse in. Not always though, depending on the time of day.

Hi everyone, just wondered if anyone knew some bus stands where the buses reverse into the stands Waltham Cross Bus Station. Some buses used to reverse onto stands at Kingston Cromwell Road Bus Station as well, although I don't know if they will when it reopens.

The 'Bus Station' at Lewisham (I use the term loosely - most people would expect a bus station to include passenger facilities, but it's solely a bus park with driver facilities) is reverse on to stands on site, with a few kerbside stands on Thurston Road. Visible on street view here
