I am still staggered North Woolwich Road is getting another route. The only small plus side is the reinstatement of a route towards Beckton after the rerouting of the 474. I wish TfL would look at the south Newham network but doubtful as it’s only been in place a couple of years. The super East Ham network does annoy me. In all fairness East Ham seems to justify the amount of routes that it has. Pretty much every route which goes there is very well used and the stops are always heaving. Newham as a borough pretty much revolves around East Ham and Stratford so there's justification as to why so many routes go there. South Newham does need some improvements though, it's a bit absurd when people in the depths of Beckton and Gallions Reach will be getting a link through Cutty Sark and surrounding areas but still won't be able to use a single bus to get to Canary Wharf easily. I’d happily settle for a bus to somewhere as close as Stratford without having to walk or catch two buses but hey ho. As for East Ham yes the direct routes like the 147 are well used but still think better more useful links could be made for east London.

To be honest if you can walk for a bus to Stratford I would probably count it as suitable, you can't have links down every single road but major areas should probably have links to other major areas.

I still think it's quite bizzare that places like Keir Hardie Estate, which has had a bus link to Stratford, for decades suddenly lost that link just so more buses could run between Canning Town and Custom House. I do feel the Elizabeth Line South Newham changes where a bit of a hash and basically a lot of chopping around without really achieving anything apart from changing things for the sake of changing things. I'm pretty sure a lot of the Custom House/Beckton changes could have been achieved by introducing a couple of new routes.

I'm not surprised - when you massively cut buses, especially in Inner London, it's no wonder you don't end up meeting targets as maintaining and investing more into buses would of saw that target far more reachable. I see Seb is, as per usual, dancing (pun intended) around the issue describing it as slightly missed even though it's over 10% off the target

I wouldn't mind so much if there was a stop where passengers could change from the 474 onto the 241 for onward journeys without having to walk to other stops on different roads. I still see lots of passengers leaving buses at Custom House station who then have to walk to the stops in Freemasons Road.

The dirtiest tube station on the Underground. For me, Piccadilly Circus! Even the lights are dark with dirt. Just walk 10 to 15 paces inside that station, then blow your nose.It will be full of soot. I tend to avoid using it. Piccadilly Circus station has not been cleaned since the rolling stock - 1972 stock on the Bakerloo Line and 1973 stock on the Piccadilly Line - was built.

I was a bit frustrated that the article on the Route One website announced the order of ADL electric buses for Stagecoach London but did not mention their intended routes. Details may well be here, although I have yet to read that operator thread today.

The Beckton bus station for me personally needs some routes to be moved out in honest opinion. Given how the 104 is routed there has to be a way to possibly extend it somewhere. Along with the 101 as well. Question is where. We can't do North Woolwich as the 473 and SL2 is there.
On a random note why do I have this feeling that there might be a bus that goes from Canning Town and may use the Silvertown Tunnel to get to the south of the river in the future.
There's some stuff I thought about in my head and I've seen it play out in live time. Whilst happy it was also a scary moment. The power of the mind is crazy.
I'm going to continue this in the fantasy thread.

Wonder what tax he will come up with next! wind tax, for people who pass wind in public Maybe you're thinking of the 'Meat Tax' for cows that pass wind in private.
