There's not really an alternative route anyone can use. I get it that some people walk from the normal stops to the 37/337 stops but I also see some people that come straight from the station so its much easier for them. Stupid question but what station, wandsworth town?

What is it with these posh prats in Chislehurst? It's like every single home has to have about three cars on the road each at one time. It's just taken me over an hour to do a simple Bromley to Sidcup journey. Sounds like someone is jealous, so because they have 3 cars on the road makes them prats. I guess you have none, hmmm could come out with insulting words as well to reflect this, but I would remain civil... I don't want to drive. The last thing the world needs is another car on the road polluting the air and adding to the tedious amounts of traffic on the road.

And riding a bus is not contributing to it either, hmm rose tinted glasses. The only way you would have zero pollution is to walk, bare foot, that way you would not be wearing shoes what may contribute to pollution whilst being created in a factory.

TBF, buses have been emitting less pollution since the early 00’s when London General & Central were using greener fuels - I remember the excellent PDL’s having notices inside about this.

I came back from uni last night to see these thugs protesting outside London Bridge station. Fortunately I didn't get caught up in it as it was happening near the bus station exit. There was also someone handing out leaflets on the station but thankfully they didn't trouble me while I waited for a friend.

If that's not an indication of more bad, bad news on Crossrail to come between now and May....

I sympathise with their cause, but these people are just being idiotic by targeting public transport. Do they not seem to realise that public transport is environmentally friendly, yet by disrupting it, they're just deterring people from using it.

If that's not an indication of more bad, bad news on Crossrail to come between now and May.... I agree. He should have stepped down already in light of the debacle over watering down timeline warnings from the project team and had no shame in taking no accountability and remaining in his job. There must be some really crap news on the horizon for him to bail now.

Something came to my mind:
You know how people are/have been protesting about climate change, maybe it's time that us as transport enthusiasts and other Londoners start making a fuss about the terrible changes to road layouts like Lea Bridge Road etc.
Wonder really what the top bosses in charge would do? Sorry if I sound silly but it's the way I feel. We as enthusiasts have good knowledge on transport and road layouts and we don't and shouldn't put up with this garbage. The message is crystal clear...

The message is crystal clear... Clearly it's working out for them lol...transport industry especially buses could do a lot of damage if they wanted to protest something but union in bus industry is probably weakest it's ever been. I heard some good stories of how they used to handle things back in the day when union was still good, like calling all the buses back to garage in middle of the day and lose tons of mileage if union felt like garage management done something unnecessary to driver and so on. Many other ways to do it, by grid-locking bridges and so on, only takes 2-4 buses to do it and there are thousands of them, taxi drivers do it, and most of the time they get what they want.
