Anyone here an Only Fools and Horses fan??
Well I certainly am!
Incase you didnt know, there is a prequel being made, and is airing early 2010. It will be called Sex Drugs and Rock 'n' Chips. and set in the 1960s.
The title doesnt sound very catchy, and i dont think it will live up to Only Fools & Horses (The Green Green Grass, anyone??). It will star Nicholas Lyndhurst will be in it playing Freddie Robdall, aswell as James Buckley (who plays Jay in The Inbetweeners) who will play Del Boy!!
I really dont think it will be as good as Only Fools, but im looking forward to it, and its going to be very interesting seeing the characters when they were younger.

Prefer stand up comedy myself (anyone for Frankie Boyle and/or Mock The Week ;D) so I will be giving that a miss but Only Fools and Horses is a top show though.

If it's anything like Green Green Grass, then i'm sure David Sullivan will be creating a gem! Fools and Horses was brilliant, but as a fan, you always wondered what really happened before the start of it. Especially knowing how Del Boy would make stuff up ;D
Really, really looking forward to it just to know what it's like ;D

Just a reminder folks!
Rock and Chips (as it is now known) will be airing TONIGHT (24TH JAN) on BBC1 at 9PM. It will be a 90 min episode. Personally its on too late! I have to be up early in the morning!.
It looks good in the adverts, and I have seen a few clips on the web. It also has good reviews.
I am looking forward to it, and I think it will be great. Lets just hope its not a let down.

Now I have TalkTalk, which is just as useless lol ;D Last night I actually quite enjoyed Rock and Chips, and was surprised about how good it was. Obviously, nothing compared to Only Fools & Horses, and it wasnt the best programme in the world. But I thought it was great anyway! ;D

I really enjoyed Rock And Chips. I've seen a lot of complaints that it wasn't really that funny, but it was never supposed to be. It was more like a drama with bits of comedy thrown in
I thought Kellie Bright and James Buckley were fantastic as Joan and Del respectively and I really hope John Sullivan gets comissioned to write a series. There's so much that could be tied up over the course of a series or two

I absolutely loved it. Thought the guys they got to play Del Boy, Boyce etc were brilliant. There was plenty of John Sullivan humour in there just more hidden than in Fools and Horses, but i have to say, seeing Nicholas Lyndhurst playing Rodney's dad was slightly strange Other than that, i pray the BBC commission a series. I'm sure it will go down very well
