Another council-operated bus company gone then....
I think there is too many 'big' companies operating in the UK!

Another council-operated bus company gone then.... I think there is too many 'big' companies operating in the UK! I agree, and Plymouth Citybus were one of the best!! Everytime i've used them they've been excellent with friendly drivers, fairly clean vehicles and decent fares/offers. Their routes are well organised and very well run. However, if any of the big companies were to buy them, i'm more than happy to see Go-Ahead take them on. I'm sure the standards there will remain the same  |

The little council run Islwyn Transport is being sold to Stagecoach and there are rumurs about Newport Transport with Veolia trying to take them over |
