Another council-operated bus company gone then.... I think there is too many 'big' companies operating in the UK!

Another council-operated bus company gone then.... I think there is too many 'big' companies operating in the UK! I agree, and Plymouth Citybus were one of the best!! Everytime i've used them they've been excellent with friendly drivers, fairly clean vehicles and decent fares/offers. Their routes are well organised and very well run. However, if any of the big companies were to buy them, i'm more than happy to see Go-Ahead take them on. I'm sure the standards there will remain the same

The little council run Islwyn Transport is being sold to Stagecoach and there are rumurs about Newport Transport with Veolia trying to take them over
