Can anyone tell me if there is such a thing as a 1Day Oyster Card? I have heard that there is one which costs about £3, but more than that, I don't know. Can anyone tell me if they are available and if so, where are they available from, and what the time and Zone validity is? That is, are they valid on all Buses, Underground and Trams?
Thanks in advance.

There isn't a ticket available for the Oyster for 1 day. Instead, the PAYG is capped at the price of a 1 Day Travelcard, if you spend that amount during the day in fares. It's what i do when travelling outside of my 3-6 Travelcard. Just top up the PAYG and let the daily cap come in for zones 1-2.

So having a PAYG Oyster is just like having a one-day paper travelcard? Just making sure as I often worry about how much im going to spend. And how much is the capped price? Thanks

Thanks The daily cap at last check was £3 (might have been £3.30 - whichever the price of a one day travelcard is) and once the cap has been reached that is the most you will spend until 04:30 the following day

Sometimes you should never rely on TFL ;D I looked on Journey Planner today and it said it would take 32 minutes to get from Romford to Harold Hill on the 174!!! If this was for around 5 i'd agree, but not at half bloody 3!!! 20 minutes maximum
