Managed to ride with these over the weekend and, i have to say, they've got even better under Go-Ahead. Drivers are still friendly, fares are reasonable but the only difference is that they're more reliable. Also, something for you VJ, their E200 Darts are all on VOITH. Noticed the difference very quickly, especially up against First's own E200's, which incidentally seem to have the same cab layout as London. Also, their 08-reg E200's (PC) have got LEATHER seats throughout Even had a ride on one of their Citaro's, number 84 which was pleasant. Even pointed out to an enthusiast at the front that they have loads of ex-London deckers down there (the EVL's), to which the driver joked about the etching they probably suffered ;D

They definately sounded like Voith. Initially heard something different about them, but being Euro IV i couldn't hear any Voith whine......until pullaway. They only have a small batch though, i think they have more Citaro's than E200's so that helps ;D
Plymouth's EVL's all seem to have been refurbished, but oddly have retained their rear doors. I've heard that the drivers don't really like using them, so never do. Not seen any of this yet, but when i do they'll have a stubborn London user to deal with ;D
