The garage itself is not huge but it has a big yard & they have recently registered it for a 160 buses. Given they dont operate any where near that number of buses from it at present it's rather odd. I doubt their current PVR is more then 50 I could find out quite easily if i could be bothered to ask my cousin. He used to work at Harlow under TownLink so may know the actual capacity One thing I was not aware of is BAA are providing some funding for the 724. I always wondered as to how they managed to operate the Watford to Heathrow end commercially as passenger loadings were always very light

The nearest routes Harlow could operate would be from either Debden or Waltham Cross. I personally can't see any TfL routes going to Harlow at all. The garage also looks quite small from the outside, but not sure how big it is inside. Here's an image i found farm3.static.flickr.com/2437/3734863722_d41ee807da.jpg Doesn't look any bigger than NS or BK, so guess around 120 mark The garage itself is not huge but it has a big yard & they have recently registered it for a 160 buses. Given they dont operate any where near that number of buses from it at present it's rather odd. I doubt their current PVR is more then 50 Well, using the fleetlist off HarlowRide, it is around the 63 mark. The fleetlist shows SOME Ware buses which turn up regularly on loan, and all the 724 allocation (the 724 is shared between Harlow and Ware), so I just estimated the Harlow allocation, which is fairly accurate. The 724 has been partially funded by BAA for some time. I would say since at least 2006, when the Citaros where purchased, although not sure the 724 was funded by BAA when the R???VPU Plaxton Prestiges were operating. Many of the photos of the 724 around Heathrow show a limited amount of passengers, so I don't think the 724 would exist if it wasn't for BAA, and also the passengers traveling between Harlow, Hertford, WGC, Hatfield, St Albans and Watford.

There is a list showing the PVR for all the Harlow routes it makes it 47 which sounds about right but the list may have a few routes left off as Harlow were and pronbably still are operating a couple of small routes in the Waltam Abby Waltham Cross are & I think they are operating a small route for Easy Bus

Commercial, PVR:3 251- Upshire to Hammond Street via Waltham Abbey, Waltham Cross. Commercial, PVR: appx 4-5 541- Loughton to Epping (extended to Harlow on evenings and Sundays) via Debden, Abridge. Essex CC contract, PVR: 2 542/543 - Loughton & Debden circulars. Essex CC contract, PVR: 1 bus used for both routes.

Excel operate the Stanstead to London service. Arriva the shires used to operate a seperate service for Easy Bus from Luton to London. It is now though incorporated into their Greenline 757 service
