A request for information.
PSV conductors' and drivers' badges once carried identificaton letters AA to HH, KK to MM and N (also T for London trams & trolleybuses). JJ was not used. What letters, if any, were used by crews in Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands?

To answer my own question, neither Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man nor Channel Islands were covered by the UK Traffic Areas. It seems that Jersey used B numbers for their drivers' badges and C for Charabanc (coaches drivers). Guernsey numbers only. There is a very good website (stephenhowarthbadges@yahoo) with many illustrations of badges (inc N. Ireland) in his collection.
