As a Top Gear fan is has been mentioned on the Germany special that The Stig "Ben Collins" was unable to take part along the trip. Now who will fill in the spot for The Stig in the rest of the series? as Donny boyle has beaten a few Celebes's with a 1:47 in the wets!!! while in the "new" reasonable priced car.
Whats your views on this.

Whats your views on this. In the first Christmas special Tiff Needel was listed as "Emergency Stig" in the closing titles and Clarkson also refered to this during the SIARPC section. Also at the end of the second Christmas special there was a baby stig revealed. As always we won't know who the new stig is until they write an autobiography in 5 years |

There was a short video about Top Gear finding the 'new stig'. Looks like it was produced by the BBC, but i've only ever seen it on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hs5MGJmz4AoLOL! Somehow I think they were inspired by the sketch by Harry & Paul (taking the pee out of Jeremy Clarkson). |

I was kind of hoping a similar incident with Black Stig happening with this one and maybe a different colour one showing up  ;D Still, don't think you can have Top Gear without the Stig!! |

As always we won't know who the new stig is until they write an autobiography in 5 years I knew it was Ben Collins way before the storm about his book started The papers are suggesting Top Gear are simply replacing Ben Collins with someone else and keeping the White Stig uniform. In his column in The Sun, Jeremy Clarkson says there won't be any problems with the new Stig writing a book because 'he can't read or write.' He also claims he 'doesn't know who it is and hasn't asked.' I don't believe that for a second but it's good that they are continuing with the Stig |

Well, it was a good start for the new Stig. First the Aerial Atom V8 smashed the lap record by over a second and then the SIARPC record was smashed by more!! Wonder if Ben Collins is really feeling all that smug anymore |
