hi all i bought a sky hd box off eBay as my old one is on its last legs i paid him as soon as it ended via paypal the guy told me on Thursday he would send it recorded delivery on Friday i asked him as soon as he sent it could he email the tracking number i sent him a number of emails that i had nothing back the box has not turned up he has left me some feedback but looking at his listings it looks as if the same hd box has be re listed thanks

Unless he replies back to your emails, I'd suggest contacting eBay about it and see what they can do, though I doubt it will be very much. |

From what I can see the guy posted this Friday - ie yesterday ... can not see what the problem is ... you do not have to answer a barrage of emails as the seller .. but you can reflect this in your feedback ... but until there is a problem ... I can not see there is any case to answer. As for the same box being sold ... he probably is a reseller. I try not to use paypal ... as you sign all your rights to protection away when you sign up to it ... including your right to charge back visa you credit card. |

Exactly what i was going to suggest Greeny, i dont think you can open a dispute with paypal until 30-90 days after purchase which i find is bad. You do eventually get a full refund.
I have my limits of what to spend on ebay for higher priced stuff i tend to go to the shops, yes they may be slightly more expensive but you have much more protection and guarantee you'll get it.

update its still not turned up i will give it Friday to turn up if its not here by then i will report it to eBay as it will be over a week since i paid for it and still not had any think of him

will you have to register your replacement box with your viewing card (by phoning sky customer services)? I had to do that when I bought a £20 freeview card of Sky. |
