Even more odd is the fact that the DB300 has been removed from VDL website, maybe VDL had planned to axe the DB300 www.vdlbuscoach.com/en/products/chassis-modules.html

I cannot understand why they didn't axe it, lol.

I'm only guessing but the Streetlites may be for Southern Counties and Derby as they have been trialled at both places. Hopefully some of those B7RLEs will go to Luton for the 12, remove those horrible European bodied Scanias.

Isn't there an outstanding requirement (approx 9) single decks for 255 which had a contract renewal few months ago, but was awarded with new single decks. Or was this quietly changed to existing fleet tangytango.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=tender&action=display&thread=3546&page=1I assume Arriva have a masterplan of fleet allocations (even if it isn't public) as they have ordered so many types (and probably lengths) of single decks

I hope the Streetlites dont go to Southern Counties, it will make my Streetlitis worse cause its front end is so ugly. If you look at the fleet it doesnt have many Wright bodied buses in it, mainly Plaxton and ADL/Transbus. On the other hand I dont think Arriva SC like VDL products for some reason cause apart from the 480/490 buses, they have ordered anything else, so i cant see any of the Gemini 2s going there, saying that TW need some extra Low Floor deckers because at the moment they have only 3.

What makes it interesting is that the 2 places the Streetlite was trialled in, both have Optare Solo SRs (when I say place, I'm talking about the division). I too dont see any VDLs coming down to Southern Counties, especially as a B7RLE was trialled at Maidstone. They do have a mass of Cadets, the 3 R CKO Palatines at TW, the 4 Lowlanders at Maidstone, the Pulsar Geminis and ALX400s at DT and the Pulsars you mentioned at NF but the number of Volvo and ADL/Transbus/Dennis buses easily outnumber the DAF/VDLs.
