I hope the Streetlites dont go to Southern Counties, it will make my Streetlitis worse cause its front end is so ugly. If you look at the fleet it doesnt have many Wright bodied buses in it, mainly Plaxton and ADL/Transbus. On the other hand I dont think Arriva SC like VDL products for some reason cause apart from the 480/490 buses, they have ordered anything else, so i cant see any of the Gemini 2s going there, saying that TW need some extra Low Floor deckers because at the moment they have only 3. What makes it interesting is that the 2 places the Streetlite was trialled in, both have Optare Solo SRs (when I say place, I'm talking about the division). I too dont see any VDLs coming down to Southern Counties, especially as a B7RLE was trialled at Maidstone. They do have a mass of Cadets, the 3 R CKO Palatines at TW, the 4 Lowlanders at Maidstone, the Pulsar Geminis and ALX400s at DT and the Pulsars you mentioned at NF but the number of Volvo and ADL/Transbus/Dennis buses easily outnumber the DAF/VDLs. Ahhh, but let's not forget Gillingham either. They still have a large number of step entrance vehicles, unless the Citybus' running around Chatham are based elsewhere ;D

The other deckers there at Gillingham and Sheerness are some of the GN04 reg Voith B7TLs (49 of them were ordered for Medway along with GN04 reg MPDs, one burnt out while some transferred to TW and Guildford when the 8 58 reg e400s arrived for the 101), the 58 reg e400s as mentioned, former Arriva Midlands P609 CAY and M915 MKM?

6.7ltr volvo engine is incorrect they mean cummins. Also the the first 10.2m streetlites, would like to see those. my error, I meant volvo chassis, cummins engine, I've corrected original post It is not your error snowman but that is still wrong because they are VDL DB300s which means they are on a VDL chassis.

There are a few Olympians floating about, from what I've noticed, so could be for them. Will have to take more note of what's running about on Friday next time I'm in Chatham ;D

It's been announced in Buses Mag that all 21 are heading to Arriva The Shires, probably to remove the rest of the N reg East Lancs European Scania N113L's. No mention of any new vehicles for Arriva Southern Counties so far though surely some will be ordered for the Maidstone P&R where the vehicles there (VDL SB200 Wright Commanders) are now 7 years old. I'm only making this assumption as usually P&R sites receive upgrades more regularly than standard services.

It's been announced in Buses Mag that all 21 are heading to Arriva The Shires, probably to remove the rest of the N reg East Lancs European Scania N113L's. It may not even be probably as according to the Oxford & Chiltern Page, Blue Route 32 in High Wycombe is to be low floor by autumn using either these new B7RLE's (Blue Route 32 currently uses some of the Scanias, the whole batch being split between different depots ages ago) or the Darts off the U9 once Abellio begin the new contract. www.oxford-chiltern-bus-page.co.uk/Spottings%20and%20Jottings%20nr45%20180511.html - (Scroll down to Arriva fleetnews) No idea about the Versa's for the 402 mate, in fact, I've not heard anything about any new orders for Southern Counties.
