The junction of Harrow Road and Scrubs Lane resembled a busy terminus as I passed it today. There was 3 ADE/Hs parked at the Scrubs Lane stop (not in service). An ADE and VH parked at the Letchford Garden stand and 2 VHs on the 18 at the bus stop both waiting for a driver changeover. The drivers have a rest room around there somewhere.

Looks like a few more SPs that were generally covering 116 and 71 have been stood down
Of SP40165-175 (mainly on 116) just 170-172, 175 are still active Of SP40176-190 (mainly on 71) only 176-183, 187-189 still active

Tolworth will apparently gain the 411 (currently at WK) on 3rd December (same day as it loses 470 to Go Ahead)

More like 4 months time, with upcoming losses of 142, 635, 642, H32, H91 last of these ends 3rd March

Tolworth will apparently gain the 411 (currently at WK) on 3rd December (same day as it loses 470 to Go Ahead) Must be driver retention driven this bearing in mind it is heavily cross linked with the 216. The latter route will be quite dull from an allocation perspective as a consequence. The 411 has had what 4 garages in around 6 years and none of them are near the line of route.

I wonder whether a shuffle will see the 220s ADEs move to Hounslow for the H98 with VHs to RP.

Thought the 71 or K3 might have been better options to move to TV, though could still happen after the 265 loss?

If any ADE’s were to be used, it’s likely they’ll come from the 142 anyway given it will be lost soon I saw it more as an opportunity to get displaced VHs into a more central London area than Hayes to Hounslow. If the contract renewed recently with ADEs then it’s probably a waste of available stock to be used on that route in any case.

Now that Crossrail is running through the core from Ealing, is the E1's Osterley extension expected to take place soon?

The latter route will be quite dull from an allocation perspective as a consequence. The 411 has had what 4 garages in around 6 years and none of them are near the line of route. Tolworth is the closest garage to line of route - Fulwell a close second. It is much more economic to run the route from TV, and conveniently is around the same TVR as the lost 470…
