Around September last year, First's last Bristol VR (MOD 571P) was evenually withdrawn from service in Weymouth. It was supposed to be replaced around April 2010 but the replacement bus a Volvo Citybus blew its gearbox on one of its 1st days out on the 501 climbing Portland Hill
. I thought that was the end to VRs in service with First.
However this year MOD 571P has turned up in Swansea operating a service between Swansea and The Mumbles and has been fully branded up for the service.
Lets see how much longer MOD 571P can stay in revenue service with First.
