Hi all
As some of you are aware, Dorset CC did some re tendering this year and it came up with some surprising results, with Yellow Buses winning a load of work in Dorchester from both First and Damory.
First were not happy that the 31 was awarded to Yellow Buses, so took it on commercially, the same with Dorchester town services and Route 103 and the Lyme Regis P&R were awarded to Yellows, but Damory/GSC took them on commercially.
Surely this is a bit fishy or is it just me that can see things going badly wrong, the 31 i can understand could be run commercially as numbers are good but the 103, Dorchester Town Services and Lyme Regis P&R would be to me never be profitable commercially, i think they have abused the tendering system which allows for talks between the companies and the council, to stop yellows from getting in to the area.
