hi guys i have a prob with my 500gb external hard over the last day or 2 its been making a ticking sound every now and then any one got a clue what it could be or a fix thanks

Well as long as it works it should be fine as i now have 3 samsung 500gb and they all do it but work fine and they have been doing this since 2008 so i think it will be fine but just to be on the safe side back everything up and take it back

My old hardrive kept making weird noises so just incase i bought a new one and copied everything over.
