London are currently installing Contactless Payment Readers on all Buses and will start on London Underground Early Next year, all TFL Services will accept Contactless payment by the end of 2012. Oyster will still be able to be used but lets be honest, I can see it becoming obsolete.

Bit late on parade for this thread.... Anyhow, Slavecoach have been banging on about this for years. Of course, as you'd expect with Slavecoach, they are nowhere nearer to getting them than they were when I first heard about them years ago!
