Hey All
The new TV Series of The Tube started today. IMO I quite enjoyed it bit educational in some bits through-out the show.
Can't wait for the next episode, next Monday.
Your opinions of the program.

Really enjoyed that.
It was quite a depressing look on society though. I'm not sure I could work on the frontline, with the constant flow of moaning passengers, and animals (drunks).
The worst part for me was when the staff where getting grief because someone got stabbed. The passengers didn't give a poo that someone could have died, all the cared about was getting home.

I really enjoyed this show as well. It was certainly a eye-opening look at something you don't normally get to see. Although you know there are major engineering works going on, actually seeing it was very interesting
As to the passenger side of things, it seemed all too familiar; moaning passengers, drunks, etc.... Get them on the buses as well.....
And Alex, that is a sad indictment of today's 'me, me, me' society. People just don't give a d*mn about anyone else anymore

Your opinions of the program. Quite and interesting show. However I was not impressed with the Stabbing at Leicester Square Station! Also Chris 'through-out' is one word.

Dirty hard seats and the fact that they are old like R reg darts N reg and sometimes a Volvo Olympian in fact the newest buses that you would see round Brentwood is are the 57 reg E200's on the 498 and then after that the newest is 04 reg scania's and they are odd workings btw, Later in the chat she ended up say well most people just take buses and the underground for granted and she was saying if the whole underground went down for just a day most people would not know how to get around also people in London have no idea how lucky they are to have bus services with new buses every 5 mins and a tube every 2mins and they moan when it turns up a bit late or has to terminate early, they need to sort there lives out because TFL are actually doing a kinda good job at running it. No where else anywhere in the world is there a Public Transport System anything like London. Rant over . If you feel that anything I have said is not acceptable please Inbox me and I will review you comments.

Some only has one out going journey in the morning and one or two return journeys in the evening. Although fares are much more expensive out off London. In Ireland its quite similar but you have to have a specific timetable with you at various bus stops, if you catch my drift. Although Sunday services over there don't start til 08:00 the latest. and most end at 22:30.

Most of the stop's in Essex don't have timetable infomation and don't want to harsh to a certain company but there name sounds like worst and that is what i would call there operations but there drivers are rude somtimes you can even catch them smoking on the bus in service and I have reported that many times but it still happens, they also seem to have the worst buses and the highest fares but then you do get that one driver that is always on time wait's for people if they are running for the bus and is friendly and says thank you to everyone but I mean even small companys like Ensign who run one route in Essex have now got timetable info at almost every stop and there buses run on time and cheap fares

As you know I did a run on the 551 end to end and had a nice driver. He saw an old woman running for the bus in the 40mph section towards Basildon and he actually stopped and waited for her. Which was 5mins of the drivers time but he didnt complain nor the did the other passengers. On that day I was thinking to me self, with the odds of an event like that happening in London would be 1 to a million.

Unless you know the driver or he is early that would almost never happen but I have seen Metrobus driver's do it but mainly for girls

I rode on Arriva Southern Counties buses in Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells & Maidstone and the drivers are very friendly. I didn't even hear any moaning from the passengers throughout the whole day till I returned to London.
