Had a look at the second episode of The Tube and I like the way how the two undercover ticket inspectors handled a few intruders. I for one would actually pay the fare if it was £4 or £8 as I for one would definitely wouldn't want to pay a fine of £80 or get prosecuted £1000+.
On the whole I was quite surprised on how people who give in either iPads, iPhone's, etc into Lost Property.

Yet again, very interesting. Quite a few things on the programme which I didn't know happend. Didn't know about plain clothes revenue inspectors (is that a recent thing?), and also how the people maintaining the signals stay on the same stretch (the guy they was talking to was on the same stretch for 10 years).
Again, a bit depressing at how abusive some people can be. Also, it was just typical how one of the cocky idiots was heading for......Loughton, my home town - that place is full of cocky morons (which is why 'TOWIE' is filmed there lol)
Was interesting seeing the S-stocks being made, and the effort going into them. Definatly some interesting characters working for LU (I mean that in a good way).

Hey All The new TV Series of The Tube started today. IMO I quite enjoyed it bit educational in some bits through-out the show. Can't wait for the next episode, next Monday. Your opinions of the program. LOVE IT!! The series is well done!! That Irish female driver is on my line in the mornings, and by god, does she like to chat!! But now she has a fanbase!! And I have a secret OMG you're cute spot for one of the guys who was on the platform doing Nottinghill......

I wish they'd do an equivalent series for the buses and for National Rail. My colleagues who work on the tube said the tube drivers filmed were an embarrassment!
On the subject of waiting for people - as a train driver on a high frequency line I only do this at night when the intervals between trains increases. Each station has a departure time and I stick to it as closely as possible. Is that wrong?

It can be quite annoying when the Central Line countdown reads 5 mins, 6 mins, 7 mins, 8mins and the platform is absolutely packed.

We had a production company filming in NX a few months back with that in mind, I think they also filmed in First at Orpington. Sadly we never heard any more, maybe it didn't get comissioned?

I think there has been a show on buses like The Tube, I remember a TV a show in 2007 / 2008, it was on the BBC and it showed the in's and out of a bus garage in London and they filmed inside a London Central garage NX I think. But other than that it would be nice if there was a bus version of The Tube.
