Shock horror......................but most cyclists do obey the law You'd expect this sort of behaviour from police in North Korea, still mustn't hold royalty up............well David Beckham anyway

They broke a court order banning them from protesting with a specified distance of the Olympic Park ... whether convicted or not they broke that order .. so therefore broke the law. You can break the law without ever being convicted of any criminal offence

You can break the law without ever being convicted of any criminal offence Some did but some will undoubtably just be innocent cyclists caught up in it all.

An order is an order at the end of the day. You fail to follow the directions of a police officer in uniform, they throw the book at you!! Simples. There's no rule for one and another for the other......
