So do you know what i need to get from the chemist to get them problems sorted? Just ask the pharmacist at the chemist. They are trained to give you the appropriate medicine based on what you tell them. It would be inappropriate for unqualified people on a bus newsgroup to try to advise on a treatment based on a written description.

Me personally, all I do is take 2 paracetamol and ride it out. I call it 'sweating it off'. The only reason I do this is I'm really stubborn and refuse to take remedys. It does take longer this way though but still works - for me anyway ;D

well good news is that i am nearly better You're probably better by now but I would have suggested Contac as it dries up that horrible crap running down the back of your throat when you have a cold - and plenty of orange juice

I find Vicks First Defence is quite effective at the first signs of a cold coming. I can't take anything from Beechams they give me chest pains for some reason.
