"Now that's how you suppose to drive! From now on, that's how you drive" A quote from Bad Boyz (1995) 😄 That was the first and last time I drove a B9 WVL in service. Good fun, who knew what they were capable of?

8789 and 8832 are both smooth fast vehicles. Took the former from Richmond to Heathrow and the latter the way back recently. The pair are easily one of the best Enviro 200s out there. Another mention is RATP's VH45157. This one was rocketing through Ealing and Kew on the 65. I don't think this one is ISA restricted (either that or it was voluntarily switched off) as it was easily topping close or slightly above 30mph on the Kew Bridge section. The driver was flooring this one.

VWH2004 seriously impressed me... Most of the VWH's are limited to 37MPH but this one topped out at 49MPH on the country roads while running light.

Apparently VWH1409 was recently out on rail replacement, and got one of the most impressive G2 B5LH thrash I have seen. Even maxing out at 50MPH (seemly) and roared very nicely. youtu.be/-6X_4kYCgCY?si=qOsNxNbfIL_5jlqCNot jealous at all I was unaware of it out. Glad to see this though anyway, as was under impression 43MPH restricted even though they perform very nicely in open roads when I regularly use this one and others on the 460.

DW466 was very sprightly with a heavy footed driver on the 123 this morning! Even though it was being driven like a stolen Astra, the bus cornered well as we turned onto Monument Way. Puts my faith back in Tottenham's fleet

Puts my faith back in Tottenham's fleet DW477 is another good AR DW that I got a few weeks ago on the 123 with some nice revs to it and more importantly it was quick enough on the fast sections along the 123.

WSD13 is really fast, like a combination of Kickdown from a Trident with the rocketing acceleration of an E400H. If only all of them performed like that…

Got home on DE1143 today on the C11, and it was a very rapid bus with some decent kickdown with surprisingly nice revving, if you can forgive the turbo leak. May have got lucky as was last trip. Normally most of this stuff are gutless junk. 😳
Gutted I couldn’t record it. One too many people at back. Will be one of the very few Enviro 200 darts I’ll miss for sure when electrics arrive.

If only all of them performed like that… Some of the batch must've had a remapp as i rode in WSD18 last week and the first gear pullaway felt like a WHV.... no April Fools. If only the Smart hybrids on the 270 was similar in that respect, though some do appear quicker since new. I've been told some of RATP's Streetdecks have performance punch ups but at the same time told theirs are generally better than Go Ahead's version.

WHV is the perfect analogy, in fact the WSD could be better at first not having the electric mode delay. I’m excited to see if more WSDs get refreshed, not to mention the engine fans have been much tamer under SW and the blinds aren’t falling apart anymore
