There are TWO sides to every story, we do not know the drivers side!!! Also will the out come of this investigation be correctly published in the same newspaper as a follow up article? I very much doubt it!!! Would it not be an idea to ask the paper in a few weeks time if they have heard anymore about this issue and then speak to the bus company to see what the out come of their investigation is??

Yes that is the example I was thinking of.

Yes that is the example I was thinking of. Incidentally what are the rules regarding mothers breastfeeding their child on the bus? I actually had one passenger board the bus while she was breastfeeding her child (a very busty woman I might add with all but the nipple showing) but I thought nothing of it as a child is naturally hungry. I chose not to do anything about it seeing as the woman was more discreet once she sat down. I reckon she didn't anticipate that my bus would arrive so quickly and she couldn't put them away in time.

I have no idea as to the rules. I can see why, although it is a natural thing for mums and babies, that it could provoke a reaction from people who are not used to such public displays. Some people will inevitably gawp while others will "tut tut". One thing I have noticed recently is the number of mums who decide to change babies' nappies on a bus. To me this is a new development but perhaps not for drivers here. It really is not the sort of thing that should be being done on a bus (IMO).

I can bet you any money you like, the paper that ran this story will not do a follow up if the driver is innocent, and the company the driver works for won't care.

TBH, 99% of the drivers I work with are decent, hard working and caring people, we do our best to help our passengers, but, and theres always a but, sadly alot of passengers are just damm rude.
The passengers are also very very quick to complain, but very very slow to compliment.
Think of the recent bad weather, planes grounded, trains not running and motorways at a standstill, and yet, londons buses, overall, ran to schedule. But passengers don't see that.
