I know it looks fun to do, but has anyone come across young people roller skating in the road like they can move fast on wheels. In my area I've seen it too often and too many close potential incidents. In fact 5 mins before I posted this I saw it happening!!
The most foolish thing to do is to hold on to the rear of a bus with skates on!!

Loads of times I've heard about it over center com and saw it in Ladywell where all they wanted was a ride up the hill to come flying back down.
I don't think they realise how hot it gets and how painful it would be until it happens to go wrong and then again the media will say its the bus drivers fault when nearly all the time he or she doesn't know they have someone hanging on the back.

Lol. Funny you say Ladywell because that's where I saw it yesterday before I posted this up! How can it be to drivers fault? Makes no sense, the driver putting no one at risk it's the idiots who hang on to the back!!

One time the driver got out of her cab and went and shouted at them, they then skated down the hill at speed and were nearly hit by a van at the bottom. I've also seen them doing it off the back of a 178 in Lewisham.

That would be hospitalisation time them things fly. The only way to stop the idiots is there mates videoing it and sticking the failures on youtube.

Seen it happen in Blackheath on the back of a 54, but Lewisham High Street is the hot spot for it...the other thing I saw when I was on nights was a Push bike, holding on the rear/offside of a bendy 12 having a chat with someone through the window and yes I did attempt to notify the driver, by constantly flashing my lights Yes, I remember I had a pushbike hold onto my bus in brixton road heading towards brixton. I knew a bike was behind me but didn't realise he was holding onto my bus until I put my foot down and I could see via the mirror he was still behind me. I looked back as to see why and he immediately let go
