Checked the bus today. The one above the centre doors is to meet the new requirement for a screen to be visible to a wheelchair passenger. Also useful for standing passengers There is a full size rear facing panel above the wheelchair position. Was thinking there was one, but for whatever reason it seems to be off a lot of the time which is probably why people don't know its there. Both were working perfectly yesterday.

It wasn’t working either of the 2 times I used MVB1 so I, like Eastlondoner62, also didn’t know that’s what it was. I thought it was a CCTV screen.

I think we have to be careful when we say garages are converted. A garage might be set up for 1 or 2 routes but up scaling to a full garage is a bit different. I know WH is potentially closing but I wouldn't really class that garage as being wired up and ready for more electric routes just because there have 5 or so chargers for the 323.

What stops it? Has it been confirmed anywhere that RATP need to be out by a specific date or whether the garage is unsuitable for electric operation? All I believe that's been mentioned is that it's leased with an expiration soon. Many garages in London are leased and the operators just renew the lease, much like what happened to MG recently.
