Not gonna lie, I’m genuinely excited about this range, especially the F9 (decker). Interesting to see they have gone with a fully Scania bodywork, chassis and parts. Hopefully less issues with rattling bodywork seen after a couple of years on the East Lancs bodied vehicles of earlier years. Scania seem to have considered engineer access to key components and a modular design which they claim will give it an advantage in terms of production lead times. I guess the success of the Fencer in London will depend on customised price for TfL specs, buyer confidence in their brand new electric drive and batteries, and delivery lead times. Other than that, the F1 looks gorgeous, both outside and inside. Hopefully we see a demonstrator on the road soon.

Be interested to see who operates the F1 demonstrator first.

I notice it says 67 already operating London, I would imagine the 67 is made up out of Tower Transit's and Metroline's batches, while the undelivered TT batch and GAL batch makes up the undelivered 30 buses. I haven't done the maths yet however so might be a bit off.

London will have 84 after Go-Ahead & the remaining Tower Transit examples enter - 30 with Metroline, 17 for Go-Ahead and 37 for Tower Transit. The 67 looks like being made up of Metroline's & Tower Transit batches (both the delivered and undelivered Tower buses)

I could see the Scania fencer on route 358 if it has a suitable range, does it?

I could see the Scania fencer on route 358 if it has a suitable range, does it? Would be cool if it went on there. The 358 always had different buses to the rest so it would be nice to carry out the trend
