I would love it if the E7 was converted to 12m buses, won by Metroline (PV) operating using existing* and new Van Hool Hydrogens. *indeed if it is true they bought the ex TT BHs Doesn't TFL own the BHs? Their Metroline fleetnumbers are VHS2748/9. What I will say is they recently passed a route test somewhere, and are being prepped for service. I don't know how long that'll take, but they will return, soon...

EP1 and EP3 have entered service on the 132 today. EP2 & 4 follow. Travelled upstairs on EP1 today from Eltham to Bexleyheath. The interior looks very slick with a glossy white ceiling panel running the length of the vehicle. LED lighting either side. There are USB charging points on the back of every seat. I was disappointed to hear the body creaking every time the bus went over a bump. After just 3 days in service this is pretty poor.

I presume he is referring to Long Drive which has a low bridge on it So the E7 can’t have DDs is because of a diversion route but it’s okay to have a school route that has DDs that goes along the E7 between White Hart and Rusiip that doesn’t make any sense. Then there’s the 114 running on the other side Long Drive and that uses DDs.

There seems to be an issue on this forum of not reading posts because I never said nothing about the E7 can or can't have deckers. You asked about where the restriction was in South Ruislip and I said the low bridge on Long Lane

I was just saying it's unlikely that Metroline will reuse them on the 226 if it's not going to be with them for much longer. But follow up question. I thought Metroline already checked all available routes and couldn't find one. So what's changed now?

LOTS website today (13th July) reports that the power supply for the RATP side of Edgware Garage is almost ready, so some BCEs should start transferring in for route 125 soon. The Metroline side is expected to be ready in August, with their BDEs now being delivered and stored.
Abellio's Switch MetroCitys for route 322 have now arrived at Bettersea and will enter service as driver training progresses.
