Why do buses still run on Sunday timetables on bank holidays (good Fridays excepted) when the tube, dlr, and overground runs a Saturday timetable. Which leaves in some cases a good 2 hour gap between the first train and the first bus.

Bromley was dead yesterday (Sunday) as all the shops were closed and not much traffic at all.

I tried to find out what service level was operating on each day and could not. This is ridiculous - are you just supposed to guess? By contrast Metrobus have a clear link on their home page and then a simple page listing what runs on what day.
