Said they were loosing time going to Avery Hill so we changed it to Footscray Road and minimum stand time. Although I know in practise they will sit in Eltham and block the stops up. No way would we have curtailed to Eltham Station quote author=" Paul" source="/post/556047/thread" timestamp="1583574923"] To add to the congestion Stagecoach and Go Ahead wanted the 124 and 126 diversion changed, so they are actually sitting in more delays. Hopefully you are one of the better drivers to come into Eltham. They wanted the diversion changed? Was that changed to the one via Avery Hill? Or was there a different plan? Obviously I’m not privy to all the facts but it seems to me that sending the 124s and 126s down to Eltham Station would make more sense than turning around at Avery Hill Oh, and one likes to think so 😊 I don’t get to Eltham very often and something has usually changed when I do! The change of the position of the first stop on the High Street completely took me by surprise 😂
No way would we have curtailed to Eltham Station Given the traffic that had already built up in the few minutes or so after the closure had gone in I can’t imagine there would have been much difference between going all the way to Avery Hill to turn around or going down to the Footscray Road roundabout - either way there will be delays I mentioned Eltham Station strictly from a drivers point of view. I know there’s no way it would have been implemented

Another addition of traffic lights to Eltham . Did you notice the new traffic lights outside the Church been there for a while however the Box Junction outside the Fire Station is very recent because of those traffic lights and people blocking the Fire Station! People are still sitting on that Box Junction won’t surprise me if a Camera appears there soon!

And if I remember correctly those new lights had been erected but were not in use the last time I went to Eltham - can’t really see the point of those ones myself

Instead, those same people are moaning that their buses on Eltham High Street are late 😉

What is needed now is some traffic enforcement cameras for those who double park

From a passenger point of view no way buses would have gone to Eltham Station. Nobody complained about the B15 because as soon as issues with the works they were sent through. When we had resurfacing we had no choice but to curtail them. uote author=" DT 11" source="/post/556053/thread" timestamp="1583576061"] Given the traffic that had already built up in the few minutes or so after the closure had gone in I can’t imagine there would have been much difference between going all the way to Avery Hill to turn around or going down to the Footscray Road roundabout - either way there will be delays I mentioned Eltham Station strictly from a drivers point of view. Westhorne Ave now clear uote author=" beaver14uk" source="/post/555808/thread" timestamp="1583448035"] Arriva complained this morning to NMCC but our view is you provide a service to the public, and missing out Horn Park was not an option. Noticed that earlier, the traffic taking so long I imagine the tine a bus arrives at Alnwick Road it should probably be at Bexleyheath. I imagine someone from Horn Park complained last time the road was shut as the B15 was curtailed to Cliftons Roundabout. They don’t like it because it means they have to Walk.
Blackwall Tunnel is temporarily closed due to breakdown of TfL's monitoring system. LVF is still showing that the 108 going to Stratford International but seems like none of them go beyond North Greenwich.

LVF is still showing that the 108 going to Stratford International but seems like none of them go beyond North Greenwich. The tunnel is open, it did temporarily close for 10-15 mins around 3hrs ago along with all other TfL controlled tunnels. I would imagine it's still causing issues on the 108. The Rotherhithe however did have to close shortly after following a minor accident in the tunnel. But this is also now open again.

It wasn't just Blackwall it was all the river tunnels that was affected they do seem to be open now.
