It's actually incorrect as route B15 is serving Horn Park Estate just going in via Eltham Road. Although tomorrow only route B15 only will be back to normal line of route. blank post? He posted a tweet. It might take a while to load.

Burst Water Main and a huge pot hole, a few months ago the road was closed for the same thing. Apparently there was a 5 Car Collision yesterday causing the closure of that road again. Noticed the pot hole on Tuesday and now only something is being done about it. 160 has been getting curtailments all through the peaks because of this. What is worse is this diversion is until Tuesday

It might take a while to load. Noticed that earlier, the traffic taking so long I imagine the tine a bus arrives at Alnwick Road it should probably be at Bexleyheath. I imagine someone from Horn Park complained last time the road was shut as the B15 was curtailed to Cliftons Roundabout. They don’t like it because it means they have to Walk.

Arriva complained this morning to NMCC but our view is you provide a service to the public, and missing out Horn Park was not an option. Its been really bad recently not just for DT routes but in general in Tufnell Park for instance there is roadworks there I belive they are installing new traffic Lights at the traffic Island if you know that area well you will Know what I mean have been removed 😉

CHANGES TO ROUTES 240 AND 382: From 0900 Monday 9 March until 1700 Friday 17 April, Route 240 buses towards Edgware and 382 buses towards Millbrook Park are diverted and do not serve the Frith Lane stop in Bittacy Hill. Buses operate via Devonshire Road, Bittacy Rise, Engel Park and Bittacy Hill to the normal route from Mill Hill East Station Due to various lane and road closures on The Broadway and Lawrence Street, buses on route 186 will divert and miss all stops between Apex Corner and Flower Lane (Sacred Heart Church), buses on route 240 will divert and miss the stops at Mill Hill Circus and Flower Lane, and buses on route 251 will miss all stops between Holcombe Hill and Flower Lane (Sacred Heart Church). Please allow extra time for your journey; buses may also be subject to delay in the area. capitalomnibus do you have any further info about the 240/251/186 diversions? ie how long its for and the diversion routes? Looks interesting

The closure of the South Circular is an absolute nightmare for those who live anywhere close to it or the A20, I didn't realise it was closed yesterday and popped out to the Texaco and back which instead of 5 mins took much longer. This is the sort of traffic levels we expect to see on the Eltham Road & South Circular once all the back roads have been closed in Lewisham, something which is coming under clean air. It will be interesting to watch how much more running time will be needed on all routes in area with increase in traffic volume.

I had a rare foray on the 314s today. The closure of Southend Crescent was inevitable given the size of the holes there. I was the first 314 down Foots Cray Road after the closure officially went in and the traffic going up to Eltham High Street stretched from the High Street right down to the Southend Crescent roundabout. Given that this was about 15 minutes after the closure I dread to think what the delays were like in the peak - and its on until Wednesday!

To add to the congestion Stagecoach and Go Ahead wanted the 124 and 126 diversion changed, so they are actually sitting in more delays. Hopefully you are one of the better drivers to come into Eltham. quote author=" Paul" source="/post/555989/thread" timestamp="1583539820"] A burst Water main has now appeared on Gravel Hill in Bexleyheath and Southend Cresent in Eltham is closed due to a Burst Water Main. The B15s was a nightmare yesterday, however it was very nice not do that long diversion to Horn Park, the workers allowed Access Only traffic through the barriers. I was confused when I saw a 124 passing Crown Woods School yesterday. I assume they are using Avery Hill as a turning point until it ends. I won’t be surprised if Stagecoach curtail many 124s to Eltham Church today. Overall got no choice really, had to sit in the traffic like everyone else. Buses avoiding the whole of Eltham because Southend Cresent is closed would be completely unacceptable. Welling was bad yesterday too. To be quite honest whenever Eltham is closed the diversions via Westmount Road are a nightmare! This Southend Cresent closure is nothing...

Hopefully you are one of the better drivers to come into Eltham. They wanted the diversion changed? Was that changed to the one via Avery Hill? Or was there a different plan? Obviously I’m not privy to all the facts but it seems to me that sending the 124s and 126s down to Eltham Station would make more sense than turning around at Avery Hill Oh, and one likes to think so 😊 I don’t get to Eltham very often and something has usually changed when I do! The change of the position of the first stop on the High Street completely took me by surprise 😂

Lol I wonder why the B15s were allowed through. Yes Avery Hill to turn round. uote author=" DT 11" source="/post/556042/thread" timestamp="1583572836"] To add to the congestion Stagecoach and Go Ahead wanted the 124 and 126 diversion changed, so they are actually sitting in more delays.
