I don't know why they divert the 282 via Pinner, could divert via High Road Eastcote instead, might save time

I don't know why they divert the 282 via Pinner, could divert via High Road Eastcote instead, might save time If you are talking about the section between Joel St/High Road Eastcote and Pinner Green, that section has a weight restriction and a bit on the narrow side. Plus not sure if a bus can do the turn on the mini roundabout between Cuckoo Hill and Rickmansworth Road

Wasn't aware it had a weight restriction, though the speed bumps could make it difficult for a DD.

Whilst speed bumps are a nuisance, I don't see how they would be difficult for deckers to negotiate when a number of decker routes have to negotiate humps and speed tables across London on a daily basis.

The reparation march is an annual event for the first day of August in Brixton but why on earth are that stupid group protesting here. Anyway, some of the more interesting diversions were the 35 & 37 running via Tulse Hill - at least one 37 ran via Tulse Hill towards Clapham Common rather than down Christchurch Road so possibly he got lost. 109's, 118's & 250's terminate at Blenheim Gardens and then stand at Effra Road by the St Matthew's Estate stop which is the usual protocol whenever Brixton is shut with the 432 joining them. They then pick up at Rush Common with the 432 running via Brixton Hill & Brixton Water Lane back onto LOR.

I'd imagine there were a lot of diversions in central London today due to that marathon event

The 275 is taking an interesting diversion between Highams Park Stn and Chingford Lane. It’s going via the 212 route, over the level crossing, and avoiding The Avenue in its entirety. Don’t know how long this has been on for, since it wasn’t doing this at the end of June, when I last visited…
Nice to finally cross the level crossing on a double decker. It’s been several decades coming….

Must make the 378 a temporary contender for shortest bus route given it's now curtailed at both ends so just Putney Common - Barnes Pond

Wonder if any bus route serves less stops from end to end?

Putney Heath rammed, buses have started standing at the side of the road then turning around at Tibbets Corner

Putney Heath rammed, buses have started standing at the side of the road then turning around at Tibbets Corner Just been down Putney High Street. Unlike the past few days traffic was moving very smoothly in both directions. In fact there's suprisingly little. Seemed to be clear on to the bridge on the Putney side. The only queue was large numbers of people at a bus stop loaded down with shopping and hoping for the non existant non 424 / 430 buses.

It’s been several decades coming…. This has been happening for almost 2 weeks. Due to the extreme flooding, the carriageway on The Avenue has collapsed. Contractors have also found 2 burst water mains so buses will divert via the 212 for some time.
