I'm telling you now it hasn't! All lanes closed on Queen Elizabeth Road. Currently on the 371 entering Kingston town centre, which resembles more of a car park than anything else! Does anyone have more up to date diversion information? The above post doesn't seem to still be true. From my observations, looks like: 371 and 65 cut to Sury Basin 71/406/418/465/K1 cut to Penrhyn Road, some going through 85 via Fairfield South, Putney bound only Not sure on rest, saw one 57 and one 371 serving Kingston, not sure if 57s are serving Kingston or just one/two bph? As always correct me if I'm wrong. 57/213 curtailed to Kingston Hosp with a ‘limited’ service into Kingston 131 curtailed to Norbiton Church with a ‘limited’ service into Kingston 65 curtailed to Sury Basin - no service into Kingston 71/K2/406/418 curtailed to Kingston College - no service into Kingston K5 diverted - doesn’t even serve the town centre SL7 diverted between Teddington and New Malden with one bus an hour serving Kingston 85 diverted between first stop in Kingston (Hall Road) and Kingston Hospital Works expected to end 22/08/2024. But knowing Kingston, it’ll be longer. I remember the same thing happened near the Asda one year in the summer, it was chaos and lasted nearly a month.

Saw quite a few 57/213/131 in central Kingston so quite a few per hour serving Kingston. Assume K5 and 85 are only affected in Putney/Morden direction, as saw a K5 (not sure of destination) in town centre.

Just seen the rather unusual sight of two 54s heading towards Elmers End at the Tweedy Road/Kentish Way/Widmore Road junction in Bromley. Sure enough, they have a fairly hefty diversion due to the closure of Southend Road going via Downham, Bromley, Westmoreland Road and Park Langley back to Beckenham

Planned partial closure of Mitcham Cricketers Gyratory: From July 8th until September 2024 the one way system of Lower Green West will be closed in two stages for water pipe upgrades. The first stage will be the section from London Road to Church Road with stage two being from Church Road to London Road, said to theoretically take four weeks with each stage. No official specifics as yet on bus routes that will be affected, ie 118, 200, N133, etc Southbound diversion is in effect but for a different area road closure, this being the Mitcham Fair Green end of London Road which affects the southbound 118, 127, 200, 201, 280, S1, N44 and N133

Rail replacement double deckers go that way.

Rail replacement double deckers go that way. I wondered that as well, although I was assuming the full length of Worsley Bridge Road and that little part of Brackley Road. It’s been over a decade since I lived that way and I’ve only been back that way a handful of times but I don’t recall trees being an issue. Google Maps indicates the closure is around the Stumps Hill Lane area so that isn’t an issue. I can only assume TfL don’t want double deckers heading towards the low bridge on Southend Lane before the left turn into Worsley Bridge Road? It was still a bizarre sight seeing a 54 heading for Woolwich along Kentish Way on my way back to TB this afternoon! How often has a Woolwich to Bromley link been suggested on this forum? 😂

The 131, 152 and N87 are on diversion using the A3 between Shannon Corner and Fountain Roundabout in New Malden. The 265 can stay on the A3 which is the LOR but it misses the Fountain entirely
Also, a sign directing the 57/131/200/N87 under the bridge at Raynes Park so presumably a diversion around Wimbledon Chase

This thus affects only the Kingston bound 57/131/N87 and the Mitcham bound 200

24 27 29 N29 N279 diverting via 214 LOR between Mornington Crescent to British Library and ahead right to Euston Road up to Warren Street Not sure why they arent just going via the 1 LOR but I did see a 24 do it yesterday and miss the turn into the bus station so looped Russell Square to turn around
134 curtailed to Mornington Crescent
Due to cadent gas works on Hampstead Road

Thanks for the info!
I suspect the bus station wouldn't be able to handle that many routes if they diverted via the 1 LOR (taxis now exit the bus station via the pub arch exit and you can barely get 3 through in a light phase).
