Best thing to do with the 256 E200's is to scrap them, They're that fu**ed! Same as the 499's ones and some the 66's batch There'll be a surplus of single deckers with Arriva - they're going to have ENLs/PDLs leftover from the H18/H19 conversion, as there won't be a need to use all ex-491 ENLs on there, and there'll be a couple of Darts free (which will probably stay at GR at spares), however, that will still leave about 5 ENLs and then some ENX from the 256. I wonder if they'll find a home for them on the 255, or something. Compared to DT, it sounds like GY doesn't do too well on the Enviro200 maintenance front either!

Slipboards for now as our resident stagecoach manager told us. so will it be on the ibus? iBus is a requirement for all TFL services, so I cannot see why you would ask that when it has been known for a few years now. Temporary contracts get iBus like the 541 & the 599 did a few years ago when it ran from Gants Hill to Barkingside.

Slipboards for now as our resident stagecoach manager told us. so will it be on the ibus? TfL use I-Bus as the basis for recording what journeys were operated so they can work out the performance achieved and how much to pay the operator. Stagecoach would not be paid if the vehicle on the 256 did not have working I-Bus equipment. [There are back up procedures for when I-Bus is down for maintenance or if it fails.]

It's only Monday right now, the week is far from complete. Just because Stagecoach run the additonal double deck it doesn't mean Arriva Kent Thameside will not run a double deck on the main 256 service.

The VLA's are still good though lol. Btw, mredd, the longer 10.8m E200's are actually for the 66, the 256 and 499 have the shorter versions. Have a feeling they could be used to gain more work, but wouldn't be too shocked if it was just the last few Cadets that moved one. Could always keep the E200's to supplement other vehicles there, such as extra Christmas workings on the 370 for example??

Enviro 200's are awful anyway ;D As for the former N VLA's, GY must of sorted them out as they were crap at N.
