Now now come on you know exactly what emission derate is lol. Run out of adblue and the heaps going even slower than they already do by restricting the revs to that of a electric wheelchair. Our school PVLs had refurbs when we started school contracts, they'll be more reliable than more modern buses as we know the faults with them already, the WVLs seem to invent problems like Emission derate - whatever that is. our PVLs should handle Southend fine

I believe the excuse is cut the revs cut the smoke billowing out but I think its more a case of yeah so the companies have to fill it whether they like it or not. On most routes you don't need to fill it daily but the 20's can go through a tank or so a day I'm guessing its the hills that do it.

I will defiantly be bashing the PVL's then, Love the early ones esp when they are being thrown about on the 474

Apparently the Fare for the 575x to Southend from Romford is £10--£5 each way. At the moment The Freedom pass is accepted on the 575 from Romford to Harlow. Will it be extended to Southend? It's still a cheap Day Out!
