I'd like to do 40 hours, but I don't know if I have the stamina! I have got a big bus ride planned with someone on this forum that will span a lot of routes in a lot of places though. There's quite a few cross-border routes and night routes I'd like to try. The 498 must be included ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I was planning to do it actually, I want to try and do nearly every cross-border route (within reason, I don't particularly want to go and hunt down a ride on the obscure Dame Alice Owens school routes) Loads on my list to do, including 107, 142, 203, 233, 292, 293, 313, 317, 370, 372, 403, 405, 407/466 (Caterham end), 464 (Tatsfield end), 465, 498 - probably not all in one day! |

153 from Islington Angel to Westbourne Road Jupiter way supposed to take about 7mins takes nearly double that now, as drivers literally trundle at about 2/3mph

I did that journey once. I say "did", I started 3 weeks ago and I'm only at Aldgate With Stagecoach the route ran quicker but with first they seem to have told the drivers that the accelerators aren't usable. They're using just gravity to save a bit of fuel, they do one push of the accelerator in Ilford and then try and keep it rolling to at least Bank |
